We Believe That…

System Special Education Team
Through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs so they can reach their full potential. Our System Special Education Team works alongside schools, families, and community partners to build inclusive, responsive, and strengths-based programming for students.
This team provides system-level expertise, consultation, and support to school teams to ensure student needs are understood and supported in meaningful ways.

In addition to this core team, the Board works closely with a wide range of community agencies, service providers, and external professionals to ensure students and families have access to the most appropriate supports.
Together, the System Special Education Team, in partnership with this broad network of community agencies and external service providers, works alongside schools and families to provide coordinated, inclusive, and responsive supports that promote student success, well-being, and belonging.
